Diana Acuna

Newest inductee, Diana Acuna, signing the national registration. Acuna is a junior in the Health Sciences and Medicine Academy. To Acuna, being in NHS means a lot. “I would be the first in my family to join the National Honor Society, which was [a] motivator because my parents were extremely proud.” When asked for advice for future members, Acuna stressed that students should try “to make themselves into a better version of themselves each day and to not be shy to stand out.” She also added the importance of “showing compassion and guidance to peers, finding ways to help your community, pushing yourself as much as possible but do not stress yourself.”
