Mr. Redhawk Returns!

After a Year-Long Hiatus, a Prized Show Returns to ACIT.

Mr. Redhawk is Back!

It has been over 700 days since Mr. Redhawk last appeared on the stage, but it is finally back in its full glory!

The last show for Mr. Redhawk was in 2019 before the pandemic shut everything down. Now, with pandemic protocols and mandates adjusting in our favor,

the show is back this year with new faces, dances and talents. With all the excitement in the air, everybody is interested in what this year’s contestants have up their sleeves–especially the students who have never seen the show before.

With 10 seniors fighting for the title of Mr. Redhawk, it is going to be a show full of laughter, cheering, dancing and very interesting talents.

This year’s contestants are: Luis Geda, Edwin Feria-Serna, Bryce Ballard, Vincent Cafiero, Kevin Bagaindoc, Jordan Aponte, Shavie Lee, Alex Mendoza, Colin Burns, and Dominic Roberts. This year’s hosts include Peter Parlagreco, Alliyah Carrazzoni, and William Leiby.

While so many at ACIT were hoping Mr. Redhawk would be back this year, trying to recruit contestants and crew, and trying to find places to practice proved to be challenging. Still, it won’t be enough to slow down what everybody wants.

“The guys who are in the show, are the people who want this show to happen,” Mr. Costantino states. “They show promise, and I believe, with their passion for the show, it’ll work out just fine.”

Mr. Costantino, a teacher and former graduate of ACIT, is the one charged with helping the students run the show. He was also in Mr. Redhawk back in 2017. With past experience and the help of 10 passionate seniors, this show is bound to be a blast.

“We’re putting in 120 percent of the effort for those who haven’t seen the show,” Kevin Bagaindoc says. “We hope that it continues in the future.” If you want to witness a highly prized show being brought back to life at ACIT, come join us this Friday night!

Tickets are on sale during lunches: $8 for students and $10 for adults. Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7pm.
