Brian Lacivita, Adviser
Brian J Lacivita is an experienced member of the production community and the recent addition to the Atlantic County community. Before becoming the Media Academy instructor at the Atlantic County Institute of Technology, Brian worked in various production and educational positions in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. After graduating from Kutztown University in 2003, he served as an audio-visual technician (music operator, video editor and camera operator) for Comcast-Spectacor, the Philadelphia Flyers and the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center. He worked as the Media Specialist - providing all video/audio/photographic material - and as an Instructional Assistant at North Montco Technical Career Center (Lansdale, PA) for several years before developing the Broadcast Studio elective at Buzz Aldrin Middle School in Montclair, NJ.
Brian is driven to create professional and thoughtful production, while leading the students of ACIT into a new world of honest storytelling. Serving as co-adviser for The Pursuit, his "beats" include digital publishing and producing visual content for The Pursuit's visual partner, Red Hawk TV.
